Cuitty is infrastructure software you can self-host or run on our cloud. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What We Collect

Self-hosted customers: When you self-host Cuitty, your data never leaves your infrastructure. We do not receive telemetry, usage data, or any information about your instance unless you explicitly opt in to anonymous usage analytics.

Cloud customers: We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Account information (name, email, organization)
• Authentication credentials (hashed, never stored in plaintext)
• Service usage metadata (feature usage, error logs)
• Payment information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers)

How We Use It

We use collected data to operate and improve Cuitty Cloud, communicate with you about your account, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g., infrastructure providers) or as required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove your data from our production systems within 30 days. Backups that include your data are purged on their normal rotation schedule (maximum 90 days).

Self-Hosted vs Cloud

Cuitty is designed to be self-hostable. When you run Cuitty on your own infrastructure, all data stays on your machines. You are the data controller and processor. This privacy policy applies primarily to Cuitty Cloud and our website. Self-hosted customers should refer to their own organization's privacy practices.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
